Well after a bright and sunny start to the day it has decided to rain. I think I'll sit it out and grab some lunch here in Almere. It's a very new town as it has really only existed from the mid seventies. Now it's full of contemporary homes.

Comfort in the Shadows
During this trip I will be exploring the variety that exists in the contemporary architecture of the Netherlands. In addition to the general architectural aesthetic I will be attempting to find those spaces that have been made usable & comfortable by architectural moves to manipulate natural light. I will endeavor to document my journey here. Any suggestions of specific locations or buildings to visit are very welcome.
