This is where it begins

It has been a while coming but today I'm about to start my journey to the Netherlands. I have a ten day itinerary that will take me to major cities and minor corners of the countryside. Along the way I hope to document the trip and post items that may be of interest to those of you that decide to follow along.
Today I will be taking an overnight flight direct to Amsterdam's Schiphol airport and spending my first day in and around Amsterdam.
